June Okefenokee Wildlife Notes:

Many species of frogs are heard during the evenings including chorus, green tree, pig carpenter. Gopher Tortoises can be seen near their burrows in the late afternoon. Sweet-bay Magnolia and white lilies bloom. Bream fishing is good.
